I would love to lock again :)

hello guys!! i was on the net checking out how do you lock African American hair cause i really would love to learn how to lock my own hair and not going to the hair dresser (using the hook method to tighten new growth). I locked my hair couple months back, i had couple of "relaxed hair" then but one day when i was coming home from school i saw this girl and her hair was long shoulder length rinsed just so beautiful.... my grandma doesn't want me to lock my hair so she told my mom to relaxed it and i felt hurt real bad.
so one day after school i went to a hair dresser in town where i lived, i told her i wanted my hair to locked we arranged and told my mom and grandmother. the day i felt very happy and all... on the day i guess i had 1/2 inch of natural hair from the root and the rest of my hair was relaxed. she said she gonna have to cut off the relaxed ends i said ok, so their sitting then suddenly i saw about 5 or 6 inch of my hair fell on the floor i started thinking but then i said "naah its nothing" (to myself).
when it was finished it was really, really short then when i went home it was so short i looked like a boy and judging by the way their faces looked i knew they weren't pleased. they said what they had to say and then it was done at that, they never knew i would cut all my hair off etc.
i did it while i was in 5th form in i think June early July, i definitely don't want to mention the feedback at school :(... so just couple weeks ago i went up my aunt, my cousin and i were talking and she said my hair looks really ugly and i should relaxed it and stuff like that. i felt really sad i came out her room and thought about the whole thing then i went to my aunt and ask her if my hair looked that bad. she said yeah it does (i don't even know how to describe how my hair looks)....so she grabbed a comb to see if my hair could be pulled out and yes it did. i was happy and i said to my self now its natural i could do it over and it grown in lengths.
on my profile picture its how my hair looks now n thats the length of it.

i wanna ask everyone....... whats the difference between sista lock and palm roll lock/normal lock? i have no idea please reply and talk to me................i really want to lock over my hair soon, i just wanna know the best look. oh and i don't want any braids in i want to go natural.
